The Words “I AM” is only two words, and three letters. The word “I ” could be a noun, a pronoun, or a proper noun. The word “am” is a verb, used in conjunction with “I” is an action word. The words “I AM” form a complete sentence. The words “I AM” form a complete thought.
Why the quick grammar lesson?
In terms of the Bible, the term “I AM“is used either as a completed sentence or in conjunction with another verb or noun.
The term “I AM” appears in the Bible over 300 times with the first appearance being Genesis 15:1 and the last appearance being Revelation 22:16.
In perhaps one of the more chronicled stories of God speaking to man, Moses was summoned to the mountain of God, and the burning bush.
Exodus 3:4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, as said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
Moses was afraid to look at God, but God explained why he was present, to save the children of Israel from the grasp of Pharaoh and Egypt.
Exodus 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out that land unto a good land a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hit-tites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Moses was not sure the Children of Israel would understand who sent him to their rescue. He asked God to explain who sent him, what is his name?
Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
To further his explanation of “I AM” God said to Moses;
Exodus 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

God is the great “I AM“. God further reveals his name and meaning in the book of Revelations;
Revelation 1:8I AM the Alpha and Omega, says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Jesus uses the term I Am throughout the New Testament.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the the way, the truth, and the life. Non one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

I pray that everyone can discover their own internal “I AM” . God is inside all of us; “Greater is he who is in you, then he who is in the world.”
Start with reading the word of God in the Bible. Start with Meditating on the word of God. Start with Prayer. Start with begging Jesus for forgiveness of your sins and to accept your repentance. Start with asking the Holy Spirit into your life, your heart, your soul.
Let’s Pray together.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name: thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
