Put on the whole armor of God

If you knew that when you walked out of your front door, you were going to be attacked by an archer, a swordsman, a warrior, or some other method of attack, wouldn’t you walk out your front door everyday with a full suit of armor on? I know I would. But yet, everyday we walk out that front door we are under attack. Spiritual attack. The kind of attack that we don’t know how to defend until it is too late. Attacks on our beliefs, our faith, our christianity.
These attacks come in many forms, through a song playing on the radio, a boisterous co-worker, a new acquaintance you met at the gym, a popular movie. The attack may seem subtle, but may have a profound impact on your future. Mine was with a co-worker, and lasted over several years, but the impact was life altering. I was blessed that Jesus found me on the roadside and decided to pick me up, clean me up and give me a second chance. My prayers and wishes are that you won’t have to take that path, take the path of being prepared with your armor, each and every day of your life, and avoid the mistakes and near catastrophic conclusion that I had.
So let’s put that armor on!!!!
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be all to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may armor able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with TRUTH, and having on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the GOSPEL OF PEACE; 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of SALVATION, and the sword of the SPIRIT, which is the Word of God: PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the SPIRIT, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
I pray that anyone reading this article will arm themselves with the Armor of God. These are turbulent times, maybe even historic times as far as change and enlightenment. If you are struggling with your role in life on earth, look no further than the bible. Look no further than prayer to our creator, God almighty. Look no further than Jesus Christ, who spent a small amount of time on earth, and made the ultimate sacrifice of his life to pay for our sins and eternal salvation if you accept him in your heart. And of course look no further than the Holy Spirit who will be your spiritual guide to knowledge, and revelation, and consistent prayer and meditation.
Ephesians 6:23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.
AMEN.
