Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: This verse in the book of Ephesians strongly suggests that when you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit has been awakened in your heart that you are to seek wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. It is a transition on our journey as born again believers to have a thirst for knowledge, for a deeper understanding of our creator and what he has planned for us after our short fleshly lives on earth.

On my journey I understand that the beauty and magnificence we see on earth are gifts from God. The gifts are to provide us with Peace, tranquility, joy, and an inner love for God and his beloved son Jesus Christ. The beauty we see on earth is not permanent, it is short lived, like a whisp of wind.
Seeking the wisdom in God, can only be found from reading the Bible. But not just reading the Bible, but obtaining a level of comprehension beyond grammar and punctuation. There are many times I read a sentence or paragraph and have to go back over and re-read it, sometimes over 10 times before I receive the message and gain the knowledge. Sometimes it may take days before I gain full knowledge and meaning of the words of God and Jesus Christ. It is so important to understand our Creator before we can begin our own journey, following Jesus footsteps in his short time on earth. How is it possible for us to spread his word, to emulate his pure thoughts and actions, if we don’t understand the author of those words, the spokesman of those words, the meaning and intent of those words?

The revelation comes when we have determined that we are believers in God almighty, that he gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ to die on a cross and pay for our sins, and that when we accept him as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit will instill in us a thirst for knowledge, a hunger for answers, a driving force that becomes our main focus to seek the knowledge through the word of God and Jesus Christ, to use our God given powers to love humanity, love thy neighbors, seek peace, joy, love, forgiveness, walk by faith and not by sight.
I love you God, I love you Jesus, I love you Holy Spirit.
To anyone reading this article I pray for you to have inner peace in knowing that you have found the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is in your heart and the great “I am” our Holy Creator God almighty is in your lives. What more can you ask for?
