Before you start your day, and by start your day I mean before you get out of bed to start your day, give thanks to God for you waking up in the morning. There are no guarantees that when you go to sleep at night you will wake up the following morning to see a new day. But if you are blessed with another day, another day to see a miracle, perform a charitable act, learn something new from the Bible, say hi to a stranger, bring someone closer to God, than you should say thanks. Thanks for guarding me through the night, guarding me from darkness, from evil, from demons, from Satan. After saying thanks take a few minutes and reflect on your relationship with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Take this time to mediate and reach out and praise the Holy Trinity and give thanks. Thanks to Jesus for dying on a cross and paying for our salvation with his life. Thanks to the Holy Spirit for instilling love, peace and joy while guiding our thirst for knowledge in Gods words in the Bible. After giving thanks through prayer and meditation, open up your bible and read as many passages as possible. Gain some knowledge early before the distraction of the world overcomes you.

I like to wake up with good positive scripture from the Bible to set my day.
Proverbs 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to him, And he will make your paths straight.
This passage is so powerful, to Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do you really understand what Trusting in the Lord is? It is being led by Faith and not by sight. It is Trusting that God will take care of you and your prayers will be answered. But with Trust comes Faith and with Faith comes patience. To have that trust you must completely submit to God. Submit to the will of God, God will make your way, but the path may not be anything like you planned. Thus God will make your paths straight. Once God creates your path, follow and follow the path in faith and trust.

Now after starting your day with God, and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit on your side, you are blessed to have a great day. Amen!
