Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

The Holy Spirit can only be found within your heart. I feel the Holy Spirit directing me through-out the day. The Holy Spirit will stop me from making bad decisions, and if sinful thoughts manifest I am quick to pray on the spot for thoughts of Peace, Joy and Love. I know that I am now on a spiritual journey. A journey by Faith and not by sight. I have turned my life over to God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity resides in me.

I wasn’t sure how the transition happened, but after reading the book of Romans, it became clear. For God to see me, the old sinful me had to die. All of my sinful ways were stripped of me, stripped to the very core of my being. Gone were my sinful ways ( the flesh ) replaced by Peace, Joy, Love, Belief, Faith ( the Spirit ). My transition started with hitting the bottom of earthly life. I lost my job, my family, my self worth. This took me to many dark places, but it all led me to this point in my life. A life of Faith, Hope, Belief, Inner Peace, Joy and Love.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwellers in you.

This passage speaks to me that I have also been resurrected from my previous sinful flesh body after it died, but have been raised again with the Holy Spirit who now dwells in me. To get to this point in my life and feel like I have been given a second chance, a rebirth of a life serving Jesus Christ, becoming a sheep in our Shepards flock, a chance to walk by faith and not by sight, is a true blessing.

I pray to any and all that reads this that you will find inner Peace, Joy, Love, and Faith. A good start is to read the Bible, I am now on my third iteration of reading the entire bible and I must say that as you read, meditate on the word and pray, the Bible begins to read differently than when I first started. Words, phrases, quotes, the story telling all makes much more sense. The journey of Faith is a wonderful tribute to our Lord Jesus Christ, His Father God Almighty, and the Holy Spirit.

Peace, Love and Joy to all. Amen.
